“But first, some fine Champagne!” chilled to perfection in this champagne bucket designed by Luc Lanel, produced by the French company Christofle. The pattern, called “Ondulations,” was originally designed for the First Class Dining Room and Bar of the ocean liner S.S. Normandie. This grand ship was the ultimate in art deco interiors.
There is a silversmith maker’s mark Christofle, circa 1930.
