Christofle Luc Lanel Normandie Art Deco Ondulations Ice bucket
This sleek ice bucket was designed by Luc Lanel and produced by the famous French company Christofle. The pattern is called “Ondulations” and is part of a series that was originally created for the First Class dining room and the Grand Bar of the great ocean liner the S.S. Normandie which was considered the epitome of Art Deco Design in every way.
The ice bucket is perhaps one of the most highly collectible of it’s era. The bottom of the piece bears the silversmith maker’s mark for Christofle, circa 1930. We are also offering the matching champagne bucket ln another listing, which you can see by clicking the “go” button.
