Unusual nautical metal streamline side table

This is a wonderful little table, all original and certainly looks like it must have come off a French transatlantic ship. Made out of shaped metal with nice brass detailing and mirror top. Notice how the support stem echoes the design of the ship’s steam stacks. At least that’s what I think. Great shape and is just perfect for that “just perfect spot”. Could have been originally a smoking stand or a place to hold your glass (between sips).
