Art Deco Modernist Vanity / Desk

Here is a very special, black lacquered Art Deco Modernist vanity / desk strongly in the Ruhlmann style.. We’re still doing the research, but this piece appears virtually identical to a shape manufactured by Ruhlmann circa 1927, also in black lacquer. (A similar shape with egg-shell finish by Dunand). The historic photograph was supplied from Art et Decoration Magazine 1927. The mirror swivels and has a beveled edge in highly polished chrome.
