Stylish French stepped rosewood bar with a stunning Lelu point of view
Item #1547 SOLD
This wonderful piece, circa 1940′s has so much going on. First, let me point out the spectacular rosewood construction on the base, sides and top. The base has this very unusual Regency meets Biedermeier meets Deco. The piece is crafted by stepping up and stepping down (deco style). Or as I might say “Steppin out”! The double front doors have a beautiful three dimensional faux finish and a stunning criss/cross inlay design. Inside is simple, nice moveable storage shelf and a modern light. Would also be great to store sound equipment for a home theater. In anyway, definitely of French origin and the legs speak of Lelu design, especially with the little brass covers. You decide!
