Art Deco Swivel Chairs Tulip Shape

We finally were able to bring these wonderful Art Deco Swivel Club Chairs back. This is a chair we’ve been promoting for years. Originally, we bought them in France (the story is that they came out of a hotel). We made some changes, and adding the swivel to the base helped make them a tremendous hit. We were finally able to have the bases made (which are quite complicated to make and turned on a lathe), in solid wood.

After an absences of 5 years (by special order only),  here is the first pair we’ve completed for sale on our site.They are certainly one of our favorite chairs (I have 4 of them in my home ). The size is great! Not too large, but very luxurious to sit in to  gaze at your favorite “view” or talk to whomever you are sharing that nightly cocktail with. This particular pair was finished in wonderful  art deco circle fabric (now discontinued) so this is the last time we will be able to use this high style fabric. The circle motifs lends itself so nicely to the circular feeling of the chair.

This is real engineering, but most of all very comfortable and fun chairs. We can also custom do colors for you, if there is something different you have in mind.
