A very rare stylish and high quality late 1930s or 1940s French Art Deco Bayard 8 day clock

Very heavy quality construction with a black and tan Portoro marble base and all metal parts being nickeled bronze or brass. All metal parts are in excellent condition with no damages or repairs. Marble base is in very good condition as well. Lucite dial is in perfect condition and has beautiful three dimensional bronze stars for the hour markers with the ones at 12, 3, 6 and 9 being slightly larger, silver centre plate is signed Bayard 8 Day with black sword hands, all in perfect condition. Front bevelled glass is also in perfect condition with no chips or scratches.
Rear cover is signed Bayard D-B , high quality jeweled 8 day movement is in perfect working order and keeping good time.
