Art Deco Elephant bookends French 1930's

Elephants are good luck, with two you will have all the luck you will ever need. This pair of sitting French Elephants made of white metal with a nickel finish seem to be pleased with their life. Maybe they are a cousin of Babar or maybe they just served time working in the circus. In any case, we all could use a little extra luck and elephants always an appreciating home to sit out their time. Beautiful pink/red marble with white veins.
