Lucien Boulier French Painter Nude c 1930 Original. Well-documented French artist, Lucian Boulier was born in Verdun, France 1882. He exhibited at the Salon d’Automne from 1919 to 1932, the Societe National des Beaux Arts, and the Salon des Artistes Independants from 1926-1932. He produced many paintings of nudes and fashionable young women. His style is that of the Pointillists, he abstracted his subjects so the detail would reveal itself when the observer moved back from the canvas. His works could be considered part of the sub-genre “Boudoir Art.”
Beautifully framed and matted with gilded faceted wood framed simple matt and gold fillet edge.
