Art Deco Masked Nude by Victor Regnart
Item #2224 SOLD
A nude with masque from the Art Deco Era by Victor Regnant. Suggestive and alluring, the subject of this painting “Femme Nue au Masque” is made more interesting by the fact that we see only the glimpse of her smile, with eyes hidden by the masque and even her face barely rendered while every detail of her body is delineated.
The piece is rendered in oil on wooden panel and is beautifully framed and gilded. There is a signature in the upper left corner as well as the reverse.
