Unique Custom Mirror with unusual faux Bakelite hooks

A unique mirror for an entry way  or bedroom, this was custom  made based on an original piece from the 1930s. Dark mahogany grained wood with lots of interesting step work. After finding the design in a vintage dress shop as a display piece with hats hanging on the hooks, we decided to make it for our own inventory. Look closely at the photographs to see the zig-zag effects that are echoed throughout this piece. To really add some personality we re-created the original  ”butterscotch bakelite” stepped hooks using  specially treated wood from our custom shop in Argentina. Super Duper Gary Cooper !
