Art Deco "Stepped Up" Cocktail Shaker

Art Deco Cocktail Shaker has the stepped-up design that evokes the feeling of the Chrysler Building, or Flash Gordon, or rocket ships, and of so many “futuristic” designs from that period. Nicely silver plated, with an unusual perforated top from which to pour. It is clean in good condition inside and out. Recently restored. Detailed ribbed horizontal treatment obvious to see with a great feeling when you hold it in your hands.

The “stepped” design, found in so many objects of the era -furniture, light fixtures, skyscrapers, and cocktail shakers are meant to evoke the feeling of  ”reaching for the sky”. However, In this case, the” Skyy ” is reaching for maybe a brand of vodka!
