Important and rare champagne or wine bucket made by Christofle and designed by Luc Lanel. The design is referred to as the circular pattern: "Ondulations"! It is quite popular and echoes the same design from the 1930s which was made for the 1st class of the S.S. Normandie French ocean liner. In fact, this model is even rarer with the Macassar round wooden handles which have a stunning look in (also with circles) in contrast to the gleaming silver-plate metal.
