Toucan Birds Silver Bronzed Bookends by Louis Fontinelle French circa 1930. Recently restored bronze with silver patina on original portoro marble base. These sculptures are top quality. Stylisicially somewhat cubist shape with signature L Fontinelle impressed in the bronze. Uncommon design of Toucon birds reflecting the artists work and commitment depicting animals in both ceramics and bronze. Louis Fontinelle (French, 1886-1964)
