Complete Christofle Silverware Set in Wooden Storage Table

Elegant and useful: this 1920s Art Deco silver chest/ side table is filled with a complete set of  French Christofle Silverware that has a slightly Art Nouveau design.  These table/chests have become a specialty of ours, the insides fitted with black velvet compartments that house each piece, protect it from tarnish and keep your flatware perfectly organized.

Maison Christofle began in Normandie, France in  1830  . This boxed  set has a refined nod to the Beaux Arts period of their design work with its ornamental nature. Christofle became especially famous as an exhibitor in the Paris Exposition des Artes Decorative in 1925 and  It maintains stores and sales internationally today.
