Beautiful French hallmarked and silver plated champagne bucket. One of the nicest we've had. Very high quality with great deco details and in like new restored condition. The weight is very nice and it has a stunning look with the best details of metal work on all the faceted edges with diamond shaped geometric extrusions in metal using old style craftsmanship of some of the finest French decorative metal companies, like Christofle, Galia, or Ravinet.
This piece looks like it might have come off the Normandy. The articulated handles additionally shows the quality workmanship of this special piece.
Hallmark looks like M&F with manufacturers name.
