Custom French Style Art Deco Swivel Chairs Mohair

Art Deco Swivel Club Chairs are back. This is a chair we’ve been promoting for years. Originally, we bought them in France (the story is that they came out of a hotel). We made some changes, and adding the swivel to the base helped make them a tremendous hit. We were finally able to have the bases made (which are quite complicated to make and turned on a lathe), in solid wood, all handmade.

They are certainly one of our favorite chairs (I have 4 of them in my home ). The size is great! Not too large, but very luxurious to sit in gaze at your favorite “view” or talk to whomever you are sharing that nightly cocktail with. This particular pair was finished in wonderful art deco mohair fabric in an amazing rich green moss with the seat fabric and is very special Clarence House Weimar Art Deco Modern Design in Linen and Velvet. The Art Deco Shapes and colors look great with the mohair and everything is piped in a neutral color that matches all the fabrics.

This is real engineering, but most of all very comfortable and fun chairs. We can also custom-do colors for you if there is something different you have in mind. I have personally owned and used a set of 4 for the last 20 years and we use them every day.
