French Art Deco Iron and Steel Andirons with Geometric Design

The strongly geometric design features tall tapered uprights decorated with intersecting diagonal bands and finely textured diamond shaped panels. Their angular bases end in dramatic inward facing scrolls, creating a beautifully balanced and symmetrical appearance.

Also known as firedogs, these andirons can be used to support firewood or simply displayed as decorative architectural elements within a fireplace opening. Their refined design would complement many different styles of Art Deco and Modernist fireplace screens.
