Custom Art Deco Wrought Iron and Marble Table in the French Fer Forgé Tradition
This striking Art Deco iron table was custom made exclusively for ArtDecoCollection.com in the traditional French fer forgé manner. The hand worked iron base is inspired by the celebrated designs of Edgar Brandt, combining strong geometric construction with stylized floral elements, hammered detailing, rows of decorative beading, and elegantly curved legs. A richly veined black and white marble top gives the table a dramatic and luxurious finish.
The ironwork continues downward to a smaller circular marble tablet suspended within the base, creating both visual balance and an additional decorative element. Every part of the design reflects the craftsmanship associated with the finest French Art Deco ironwork of the 1920s and 1930s, interpreted here by artisans capable of executing these increasingly rare traditional metalworking techniques.
