Art Deco Style Console Table and Matching Mirror
Art Deco Style Console Table and Matching Mirror
A striking Art Deco-Biedermeier style console table with matching wall mirror, designed with strong geometric form, warm figured wood, and dramatic black accents. The console has a graceful demi lune shape with a rounded front, three drawer panels, brass ring pulls, and a bold architectural base built around a large curved support and black sphere detail. The matching mirror repeats the same stepped geometry, with a pointed architectural top and black trim that gives the set a strong period inspired presence.
The combination of honey toned wood, polished black detailing, and clean symmetry gives this piece a refined Art Deco look without feeling overly ornate. It also works beautifully with Biedermeier style interiors, especially because of its warm wood tone, restrained ornament, clean lines, and formal architectural balance. This set would be ideal in an entry hall, dining room, living room, bedroom, or formal interior where a strong decorative focal point is needed.
1990s National Mt. Airy Art Deco-Biedermeier Console server and mirror. A demilune or crescent shape made from maple with ebonized accents and inlay along top.
Mount Airy of North Carolina's roots go back to 1888 when the lumber and woodworking industry was booming. They had three large factories and quickly evolved into specialized furniture suites. They enjoyed a successful run until 1997 when a fire completely destroyed their facilities.
