Detail and craftsmanship abound in this rich mahogany art deco bed frame with its wood grain layed out creating a unique checkerboard pattern. Both headboard and footboard depict a spectacular floral inlay work- a combination of mother of pearl, abalone shell and ivoroid. This is the kind of embellishment you might find in guitars and jewel boxes of the era which helps to make this piece very unique. French styled high back head board and bullet legs are classic Art Deco and this clearly is a designer piece.
"Fit for a Queen”…literally…because although it is a standard double size, it can be easily adapted and fit for a queen size bed.
