Arvin 1937 Rhythm King Restored Radio 1127 Bluetooth

Item #3106 SOLD

The Arvin model E-1127 Rhythm King from Noblitt-Sparks.  Art Deco cabinet design at its best,  stair-stepped side corners with lower bottom edging to match. Moderne design and sounds amazing (maybe the best-sounding console yet). Two electrodynamic speakers 12 inch for low frequency, with a special 6 inch for high-frequency operation. Dual-channel audio amplifiers; special bass and tone compensated control. 3-gang condenser, cathode ray precision tuning (magic eye 6G5). Cabinet in rich-grained walnut in combinations with pencil-striped mahogany and satinwood.

Original light-up colorful dial (red, yellow, green, white),  original wooden knobs, and wooden speed lines cover the speaker grill fabric. Outstanding, this three-band radio has 11 tubes inch for low-frequency operation. It has a separate power supply, dual-channel audio amplifiers along with special bass and a tone compensated control. It has the famous green ‘magic eye’ for precision tuning.

Additionally, this radio has been fitted with a 1/8 inch adapter which will allow you to use this with your iPhone, smartphone, iPods or record player. Access your old vinyl, or log on to  Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, or the playlist on your computer to provide the tunes and use the Bluetooth connection to bring the warm, bright, analog sound of a tube amplifier to any music or recordings you choose. The quality of the sound is excellent – just ask any guitarist since these kinds of tube-based amps are still being made and used today. You will have the best of “digital” and “analog” combined.

The Rhythm Series was introduced in 1936.  Some of the most beautiful and most uncommon of all the Arvin sets are included in this series.
