Seeburg Symphonola Modernistic Model C 1936 Restored Juke Box
Item #3319
Seeburg Symphonola Model C 1936 Restored Juke Box. This is a rare and hard-to-find Modernistic Model which plays 12 78 RPM records. The Model C was considered one of, if not The most Art Deco Box ever manufactured. Not much is known about these jukeboxes as very few of them exist. The asymmetrical shape, the mixed woods, the stepped wood sides, the fancy metal diamond screen, and the metal sunburst back curtain help make this model so highly desired.
This particular jukebox has been painstakingly restored, bearing in mind all the while that originality, whenever possible was of utmost importance. The mechanism has been completely refurbished. The amplifier has been completely rebuilt. This machine works and sounds as beautiful as it looks! The pictures tell the tale here, but you have to be standing in front of this machine to truly appreciate the beauty of the asymmetrical Art Deco design of this machine. It is Art Deco to the Ultimate and sounds great including a new cartridge and playing needle!!
The machine uses nickels for a single play and dimes for a double play. There are 4 caster wheels on the bottom to help move the console machine.
