1930 Portable Gramophone His Master's Voice Original Red Covered Finish

Item #3376 SOLD

1930 Portable Gramophone His Master’s Voice Original  Red Covered Finish. This 1930 Portable Gramophone is the real deal. It’s an HMV Model 101, part of a small collection of such classic sound machines which have been restored. This has an unusual feature with a record carrier that fits on top of the turntable so you can easily pack records to take along. The outside and inside red color gives this some special attention and the condition of all the metal parts, original but glowing after just being polished. It even has its little drawer on the corner to store needles.

This particular model offers an “auto-brake” system, which means when your record is finished playing, the table stops spinning and you can listen to the next one. Made in England and the condition, red covering, this one is outstanding.
