Czech Art Deco Whiskey Glass Decanter Set

Art Deco Czechoslovakian decanter and six glasses from 1930, beautifully etched in heavy crystal. What makes this set quite special is the size and heft of the glasses, being enough for a serious drink, not just a sip of aperitif. It has a pleasing combination of bold, masculine lines in red and more delicate etched stylized modernist design. Oversized decanter with topped of with matching crystal stopper.

Every country had its influence in the Art Deco Movement and the etched glass with embedded color is the notable contribution made by the Czechoslovakian/ Bohemian part of Europe.
