This is a very rare and important French lamp by Sabino, representing some of the earliest high quality opalescent glass development, not a typical moulded piece. The "Lady on the Half Shell" in rendered beautifully. Completed in the early 1920's and you can see why at this date there were many comparisons to Lalique. This is represents an important development for the Art Deco period and also for its creator/artist Sabino. Note the special signature on the back as well.
