Art Deco Statue Table Lamp Gazelles French by P. SEGA

French statue/table lamp signed P. Sega France. Original piece in excellent condition. Even the shade, a kind of framed parchment with metal frame is original (although not perfect), it shows very well. The form is very natural, from the period 1920′s depicting two horse like gazelle twins emanating from a center floral tree stand. Partial wood base on the bottom and top. All of the lighting hardware (except for the wiring) seems to be original brass/bronze fittings. The light works fine. Material is a special metal sometimes called “petite bronze”.

This is a unique piece, I’ve never seen it before. I have had one side table by the same artist depicting two elephants holding up the top of the table. A similar treatment, but was sold years ago .
