Art Deco Running Man Statue by L Valderi French, circa 1930. Verdigris patina metal sculpture on sculpted portoro angled marble base. The movement of the man, reminiscent of the great male statue known by Jean de Roncourt. This one is signed L. Valderi on the base, an artist also known for this kind of work.
Fabulous piece in the spirit of so many strong men and the Diana statues created and seen during this prolific Art Deco period of strength and movement.
