It was the Pan American flagship it was also flown by British Imperial Airways. This exquisite model is an interpreted meticulous homage to the iconic Boeing Clipper, a long-range flying boat from the era of 1938 to 1942. This model is very well-detailed and made of solid wood construction and plated metal parts. It certainly interprets and honors the important Boeing historic plane. It is similar to the Martin M-162A ‘Tadpole Clipper which was a prototype.
