Both are an original oil on wood panel painting by French artist Pascal Jarrion, depicting a bustling dockside scene of ocean liners, smokestacks, and cranes compressed into a single dynamic composition. Dark plumes of smoke rise from a cluster of red and black funnels, anchoring the scene in the working rhythm of a busy port.
Pascal's distinctive visual language draws on Cubism and Futurism, breaking the ships and surrounding structures into overlapping angular planes that convey both architectural detail and a strong sense of motion.
