English Art Nouveau China Tea Service

A petite tea set with four each  plates, cups  and saucers. The delicate decorative element is borrowed from designs by Charles Rennie MacIntosh and hand painted on each pace with  a light touch. This set was made by Charlson CO. more well known for its flowery embellishment while this rare set has  more geometric decoration.

The set includes four cups, saucers and dessert plats, a sugar bowl and creamer in the iconic Charlson shape.

The design is evocative of the Willow Tea Room decor by Scottish Artist Mackintosh.
