Art Deco lattice silver-patterned Wood Jewelry box with modernist design. A simple style box that can be used for trinkets, jewelry, cigarettes or whatever you can imagine. Sophisticated silver overlay design is quite unusual. Beautiful burl wood and fabric-covered inside with brass hinge. Personally bought in France and was told it is sterling over-lay but the mark is very hard to read. It does polish right up.
