Louis Carvin Cubist bronze prowling panther silver-plated on a black marble base. Louis Carvin was a renowned French sculptor known for his contributions to the Cubist movement. He was born on January 14, 1875, in Paris, France, and passed away on March 6, 1951. Carvin's works often incorporated geometric shapes and abstract forms, reflecting the influence of Cubism.

 

The bronze panther sculpture, silver-plated on marble, is an example of Carvin's artistic style. Bronze was a favored medium for sculptors during the early 20th century, and Carvin was known for his expertise in working with this material.
