Incredible 1937 Monark Silver King with moon 26" Wheel Covers. A beautiful bicycle that is a work of art and always commands the center of attention in a showroom or on the road. The bike frame is a 1937 standard boys duralumin (aluminum alloy) Hawthorne frame made by Silver King for Montgomery Ward. The frame has been polished for many hours to resemble chrome!
Original 1937 Montgomery Wards Fall & Winter Catalog ad states: Frame, Forks, and Handle Bars are made of lightweight rustless duralumin - the same strong, heat tempered aluminum alloy used in streamlined trans & airplanes.
