French Art Deco Frosted Glass Globe Lamp by Simonet Frères
French Art Deco frosted glass globe lamp by Simonet Frères, circa 1925. The substantial round glass shade features a deeply molded, three dimensional starburst design with exceptional geometric detail. When illuminated, the frosted glass softly diffuses the light while emphasizing the sculptural relief of the pattern.
The globe is currently displayed on its original decorative bronzed iron mount and can be used as a table lamp. It could also be easily adapted as a ceiling mounted fixture using a variety of hanging treatments. The globe measures approximately 10 inches wide and 10 inches deep.
