Art Deco Spear Hunter Sculpture

An Art Deco Sculpture of a Spear Hunter with expressive face and dynamic posture captures the essence of the athleticism and beauty of the male form.  Cast in metal with nice patina  a touch of cold painted detail, it sits atop a black  marble base. The details are exceptional. Note the contrast of the wavy hair, the folds of the loincloth and then  the smooth skin .

We like  the look of determination in the hunter's eyes and the tight grip with which he wields his spear.  It is a magnificent piece. Although it is not signed, if you take a look at other sculptures on our website by Ouline,  de Roncourt and the master of them all, Chiparus, I think  you will find this statue to have the same level of artistry as those with the "famous names".
