VINTAGE INDUSTRIAL HADRILL HORSTMANN COUNTERWEIGHT LAMP showing a balance desk, bench task work lamp dating from sometime between 1940 and 1960, restored condition. (photos enclosed). All original, uses bayonet style socket and can be used with with either 110V or 220 European volt depending on what country. Originally bought in England but these were used all over Europe.

Really an ingenious design and the counter balanced arms move smoothly and easily and stay exactly where you want them. The shade can also be tilted and turned through 360° so you can get the light exactly where you want it - on your desk, workbench or on your bedside table.
