Made by the French company Jumo, circa 1940's, considered a post war streamline lamp design know as "Bolide". This articulated lamp attributed Gustave Miklos, makes this a most collectible and popular lamp.
This is NOT a remake, but an original (purchased in France) with minor repair (which can not be seen) at the base on one side. Copper and chrome plated arm is in perfect condition, with swivel joints are all nice and tight. The lamp will adjust exactly where you want it to go. It has the original bakelite switch inside the base on lamp which automatically turns on the light when opened. The bottom of the base has molded name Jumo Brevete made in France. Highly sought after collector's piece.
