Art Deco Iron and Marble Floor Lamp with Orange Glass Shade

Iron and marble floor lamp with black base and Art Deco style hand-painted shade. This was custom made in the technique of French For Forge with dynamic carving and hand hammering to give classic design to the ironwork. The zig-zag pattern of the iron is unique. The shade in a soft orange has been painted with the classic "English Sunrise" motif that comes to life when lit.

The gentle curve of the ironwork creates not only a pleasing arc but places the light source in an ideal angle to use as a reading lamp or to place next to a couch or chair. In addition to the marble base, there is a marble "table" that has been incorporated - a perfect place to set a cocktail of course!
