Spectacular Art Deco Zig-Zag Movie Theater Chandelier

Item # 2055 SOLD
Measurements
This fixture is 30" long, but because of the chain feature, it can be hung as long as needed depending on its future home. Width of fixture is 13"

This dramatic theater chandelier once hung proudly in a California movie palace and has now been restored for your “palace” at home or commercial setting. Fabulous zig-zag metalwork in nickel and brass frames three tiers of frosted milk glass panels with just touches of ruby red glass accents. “Lights, camera, action!” From the starburst canopy to the tiny golden balls, the deco finials and hand rubbed gilding, everything about this piece will turn on that Hollywood glamour with a flip of the switch.

During the 1920s and 30s there were amazing theaters built to the highest style with jaw dropping detail. Today some of them have been beautifully restored while most have been demolished. Occasionally, fixtures were saved and we have been fortunate enough to have several of them find their way to the showroom, please check our website for more information on other Theater fixtures.

Previously we did sell matching sconces (see item #1735) and currently we have sconces from the Vanity Ballroom for sale ( see item #1885) .
