Important Large French Art Deco Atelier Petitot Chandelier

Pleased to offer this outstanding French Art Deco Atelier Petitot chandelier. Just fresh out of an Estate in Southern France. Completely original signed glass and also signed on the metal (A.P.) as well. This is one of those rare examples of a true Art Deco design. One can see a truthful relationship between the design of the glass and the design of the metalwork. Circa 1935, this high quality nickel plated sold bronze metal work by the famous company of H. Petitot. Also refered to as Atelier Petitot. I have not had the opportunity to present such a glorious and complete fixture in some time. If you have the right location, this is a fixture that will really amaze you and add that special Art Deco glamour that only truly wonderful chandelier can do.

The repeated starburst design with geometric motifs in the glass on the metal face you from every angle. For me, it kind of like a Busby Berkeley flower dance. It is in amazing original condition, we have only re-wired it, but everything else 100% original. This is a chance to own quite a remarkable piece of Art Deco design.
