Hand Wrought Iron Art Deco Table with Tiles

This stylish side table custom made for us of iron set with artistic tiles is part of a series of pieces of which we are quite proud. We have located two very rare things: a craftsman who can still work in the historic “fer forge”

French technique of iron design made most popular during the 1925 Paris Exhibition, and a collection of original tiles recaptured from decorative panels in Art Nouveau to Art Deco homes built from about 1910. The result is a strong piece that can be used both indoors or outdoors.

The rich black and white design evokes a few different themes…Charles Rennie MacIntosh, American Indian, Frank Lloyd Wright and Art Deco all at the same time. Note how perfectly the design of the ironwork reflects the pattern in the tiles. We currently have two of these custom made tables available.
