Art Deco Jazz Club Chairs in the Style of Paul T.Frankl speed chairs. Great size and comfortable channel back design. This is one of my favorite shapes and sizes. Great over-size look but relatively small in size. Designed in the 1930s shown here with original reupholstery from the 1950s. They would work great for Art Deco or Mid-Century environments.
The fabric is in excellent original condition. It is a cream color with some darker warm shades running throughout it in a nubby dimensional texture. Nothing better than the comfy feel of a channel back chair, often seen during the Art Deco period. The base foundation was constructed with springs, padding and webbing. The cushion was just redone with new med firm foam.
