Art Deco Ironwork Lamp with Blue Glass Shade

"Fer Forge" French ironwork in the Art Deco style forms the base of this beautiful lamp which has a rare blue moulded glass shade. The hammered base combines some great shapes and design such as the metal acanthus leaves that hold the hexagonal shade in place.

The shade is of a very pale blue glass, impressed with an all over diamond pattern and colored in an ombre method that blends the color from dark to light.  The on/off switch is original and clicks on with a tiny red bakelite button.  There is a signature, A. Roncoroni in the iron.

This special piece will make you want to turn all the other

lamps down low and put a soulful but upbeat tune on the record player
