This is another in our collection of unusual, streamlined glass pieces from the famed La Coupole Restaurant in Paris. Made of heavy, etched glass and embellished with chrome detailing it makes a stunning centerpiece. Riecke, who did some work with Lalique, did fabrications in glass and metal between the 1930s and 1960s. Often, the date is prominently etched in the glass as part of the design.
