An Art Deco Modernist Decanter made in Czechoslovakia in the early 1930s with a dramatic black glass and etched design. The stepped-up motif and zig-zag and triangular decorative elements kind of evoke the architecture of the famous Chrysler Skyscraper Building of New York.
Czech glass decanters are an iconic item that we think every Art Deco home or office should have on display. This one has six glasses and a beautifully sleek crystal stopper. Putting wine in a decanter will help to aerate it, and putting liquor in a decanter protects it and creates a special ceremony when you serve a glass of something fine and mellow.
