French sculpture 'Woman & Peacock'

French sculpture 'Woman & Peacock' silvered metal and ornate marble Completely original and rare Art Deco sculpture. This piece is unsigned but it obviously was done by a very gifted artist. The details in the metal are great, circa 1925 era, featuring a rather evocative woman petting a peacock as she leans back on a support of floral bouquet. Notice the way here leg leans over the side of the marble, this did not happen by chance. The piece shows the great vision of the artist with perfect execution. I have never seen this sculpture before. The marble work on the base is also quite intricate with some very original details showing contrasting colors, the choices of some of the gray marble almost make it look like metals cast on the marble to compliment the nickel plated statue work. I am sure this one will not last.
