Art Deco Equestrian Rider with Horse on stepped base by Charles

The sculpture depicts an Olympian male trumpet blower next to his leaping horse, holding him in place by the reins' It's a very well made French statue, Circa 1930, crafted in bronzed metal and has a beautiful greenish-blue patina. Signed Charles in the back leg area. This artist was known for sculptures with an Equestrian theme. The base was made by the artist "Demarco" who was known for producing these kind of bases and also an artist in his own right working with this kind of textured stone and cement material.
