I love the piece. It is very interesting, fun and playful. Quite unusual really. I've never seen such a highly stylized base, using portoro marble, metal feet and very spectacular amboyna and macassar wood to help create the impression of two cats joyfully playing with one another. The cats have an unusual spotted patina, both of them portrayed in a most unusual way. Substantial size as well.
