Notari Art Deco Cubist Panther sculpture

Here's a rare and magnificently intriguing 1930s Cubist sculpture of a climbing and growling panther on the prowl. The artistic facet-like details are imaginative and convey a sense a strength, power and ferocity. This bold sculpture is in excellent condition and has a new restored patina. It is signed "Notari".. This panther has been shot with an arrow in his hind leg and is growling with pain. Cast in a white metal, resting on a multi-colored onyx and marble base: brown beige onyx top, black marble and cream onyx base sides and facing.
